A very busy couple of weeks in the practice. One poor PIP patient had previously had banned Trilucent (soya) breast implants taken out and replaced with PIP implants several years ago, only to find herself in the same position. A very difficult consultation, but one in which I was able to spend time discussing all the evidence as well as the data on other good quality implants. It was very satisfying that the consultation ended on a high note, with her much better informed, and able to go away with a positive outlook with which to make her future decisions.
