ISAPS 2012 – Geneva

Industry Insight

August 29, 2012 | 1 minute read

Only 1-week to go until the biennial ISAPS meeting. It appears to be a really well organised conference, even with an iPhone App to help navigate around the venue and plan what talks to attend!  It is a full-on conference, with lectures and masterclasses beginning at 7am, and the days going on for up to 12-hours. The difficult thing is, with so many top quality speakers and interesting topics, I feel I won’t want to get much of a break – it all looks too good to miss!

The first morning concentrates on techniques of rhinoplasty and perfecting the result. The afternoon moves up the face to the eyes and peri-orbital area, with well-known speakers discussing rejuvenation of the eyes and brow. The following day is about face and neck lifting, including talks about some of the less invasive procedures that are popular, and their advantages and disadvantages. The last two days of the conference revolve around body contouring and plastic surgery to the breast.

A full update on my return – now to plan my schedule on the conference app…!
