Amongst several plastic surgery websites I feature on, two particularly stand out for their benefit to patients: Both Realself and Estheticon are sites that allow patients to ask questions to high level plastic surgeons from around the world, and to discuss concerns, worries and doubts they may have.
I do my best to answer questions for patients whenever possible on these sites. I also personally find them helpful, as I am able to see the views of international colleagues to the questions posed by patients. Most often there are several solutions to problems that present to plastic surgeons, so reading the different approaches can not only be helpful for the patients who write in to the websites, but also for those surgeons contributing to the sites
